first.. a big thank you to all who organized the outing..
it was SO SUCCESSFUL! XD
and thanks for all the enjoyment, the show, the lunch
(better than the bbq.. lolz)

Hello people good news! ;D
These are the CONFIRMED details.
- We will meet at the
SOMERSET MRT CONTROL STATION at
10.30 AM.
- Please
do not be late as the movie will start at
11 am.
- The time between 10.30 to 11 is for those who want to buy popcorn and nachos and such.
- Again, we will be watching
Step Up.
- It will last 103 minutes and end at around 12.45 to 12.50.
- For Jesslyn, meet us at the entrance of
cineleisure at
12.50 pm.
- Our Seoul Garden reservation is at 1.30 pm, so meanwhile you can walk around but do not wander off without telling anyone or go somewhere too far.
- After lunch you can walk around or go home.
MONEY MATTERS
- The price of the movie ticket is
$6.50 according to
www.cathay.com.sg.
- The price of the steamboat/bbq is
$12.70 per student with free flow of drinks.
- For Jesslyn, bring
$12.70 for lunch. Pass it to Shiqi on that day.
- The rest will pay Shiqi
$13 in total for the movie AND lunch. She will pay for everything.
(It is actually $12.60 but $13 is a round figure and it's spare, in case we counted wrongly.)
- After the outing, Jesslyn, Yunyi, Jolene and Melissa will get $2.50 back. The rest will get $0.46 back :/

The show times are out: 11am and 1.05pm.
I suggest we take the 11am one, after that we can enjoy lunch instead of rushing through it in time for the 1.05pm one. Unless you all wanna wait till 2 or 3 plus to eat lunch.

Sorry everyone! We have not confirm all the details yet.
Things confirmed are:
1. Date: Thursday, 9 Nov 2006
2. Those who are not going for this outing, your money will be refunded to you after the outing.
Things to be confirmed:
1. Venue - I will call the Seoul Garden at Ngee Ann City and ask them whether we could reserve seats and whether we have to pay for doing so. If we have to, we may change the venue for the lunch.
2. Time - As we could only find out the time slots for the movie, "Step Up", next week, we cannot tell you all what time to meet for the lunch.
3. Movie - For now, we should be going to cineleisure to watch the movie. But if there is a change to the venue of the lunch, the cinema we are going to may change as well.
4. Money - After everything is finalised, I will calculate the amount of money all of you have to bring on that day. Wendy said that the movie is $6.50 if we watched it before 5.30pm. Once i have confirmed the amount of money to bring, please bring the exact amount and give it to me on that day. I will pay for lunch and movie together. The extra will be returned equally to all of you. For Jesslyn, i will tell you how much you need to pay me on that day or you may have to pay your lunch by yourself instead. I will give you further instructions on that day.
Things to bring for the outing:

All those dancing the chinese dance, please note the followings:
1. Meet in the foyer so we can call and find out the venue together.
2. Time is 1pm to 3pm. May drag longer.
3. Don't be late.
4. Bring leotard, tights and ballet shoes.
On 13 Nov, please note the followings:
1. Time is 9am to 5pm at the PAT.
2. Don't be late.
3. PLease get your consent forms signed and bring it on that day. those who do not have the consent forms, please remind me to give it to you.
4. Bring $3 for dance fund.
5. Bring tickets money.
6. For those who ordered the malaysia competition VCD (me, wendy, valerie, cynthia, guin, sherryn and rachel), please bring $15.
7. Bring leotard, tights, ballet shoes for chinese dancers and liu xin for those in the liu xin part.

Just wanted to ask if you all wanted to watch Step Up before/after lunch. For people like Miss Wendy Ang who don't know anything about it, it's this show about breakdance and ballet and so on. For people like Valerie, Seah Leyi and Wong Yunyi, you all must vote go okay!! Here's some info:

seoul garden is sort of like a buffet+ steamboat +bbq/griller. u go take the food (buffet) then u choose either to steamboat it or bbq/grill. yeah. and i went to check the venues. the venues are as follow:
- Causeway Point (woodland)
-Ngee Ann City (orchard)
-Marina Square (raffles place)
- Tampines Mall (tampines)
- Bugis Junction (victoria street)
-Ang Mo Kio (AMK)

about the clementi thing, i heard that the food there isnt nice. so, NICE NICE me (haha) went online and check more about other outlets. i went to check on seoul garden and was wondering if u guys might be interested. the details are as follow:
Time: 11.30 am - 4.30 pm (lunch)
Day: Monday- Friday (most likely will be held on Thu, 9Nov)
Price: Student price $10.99++ (+free flow of drink)
Venue: there are a lot of outlets, we can decide that later on
if we were to go, around $15-$20 should be enough. so, do u guys want? If not, do u guys still want to go to clementi one or marina bay? For marina bay, do anyone have any recommendations? if have, please tell us! ;)
